Derrick Rose, the centerpiece of the Chicago Bulls and the greatest player the franchise has seen since the Michael Jordan era, will miss the remainder of the playoffs after sustaining a torn ACL with about 1:10 left in the Bulls 103-91 victory. Rose's injury occurred while leaping driving down the lane.

So it looks like the Bulls got what they may have wanted: No Rose. They won more than half of the games Rose missed and finished with the Eastern Conference's best record.

Rose will most likely miss the playoffs, and probably miss the Olympic games this summer in London.
